 Please join the Houston Chapter of the International Association for Energy Economics (IAEE) on Thursday, March 12 for our monthly meeting.

Dave Purcell will speak on The Current State of Oil & Gas Markets.

REGISTRATION: You are encouraged to RSVP via the on-line system at http://iaeehoustonmarch2009.eventbrite.com/. You may pre-pay for your registration with a credit card, or you may indicate that you will pay via cash or check at the door. If you are registering or purchasing tickets for your colleagues, please provide the name of each person in your party. Registration closes 24 hours in advance of the meeting.

LOCATION: The meeting will take place at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, Houston Branch. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. for networking. Lunch is served at noon. The talk will be followed by a brief Q&A session.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER: Dave Pursell serves as Head of Macro Research and was an original partner in Pickering Energy Partners.  Pursell was previously Director of Upstream Research at Simmons & Company, International and spent eight years as manager of petrophysics at S.A. Holditch & Associates, now a division of Schlumberger.  He gained operational experience with ARCO Alaska, Inc., conducting field engineering and operations.  Pursell currently serves as Chairman of the IPAA Supply committee.  He holds a BS and MS in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.
